The Aesthetics Journal reports that a recent Study indicates high patient satisfaction for new Intraline Hyaluronic Acid Dermal Filler.
A study conducted by Dr Sebastian Torres in Italy suggests patients were highly satisfied with their results after being treated with a new stabilized hyaluronic acid dermal filler by Intraline.
Dr Torres treated 70 patients with moderate to deep nasolabial folds with up to three 1ml syringes of HA. Patients were assessed seven days after treatment and they every month after the initial treatment for 300 days and their satisfaction was measured at one, three, six and 10 months through a self-evaluation questionnaire.
The results indicated patients thought the results were ‘very good’ or ‘excellent’ for the majority of the 300 days.
In the study, Dr Torres said, “The long lasting action and patient satisfaction was probably due to the cross-linking technology of this new medical device, which is characterized by isovolumetric degradulation.”
He continued, Moreover the filler material interacts with the recipient sitecells and increases their metabolism, collagen synthesis and hydration, which may explain why the benefits of the treatment are present even after the products reabsorbs.”
